Found Items
I have a website and am currently hosting the pics there. Once I figure out how to add them to the gallery, I will do that. Should I add them to the artists and foods category or will you create a new one for tableware?
First, some background about me:
I grew up watching TOS but, although I’ve seen every episode, I don’t remember many of them. I’ve also seen most of TNG, some DS9, some VOY and some ENT but I didn’t watch them in order and, again, don’t remember most of them.
However,I loved them all, so when I found The Star Trek Cookbook on our second visit to The Experience in Vegas, I convinced DH to host a Trek themed party. I started watching the shows again, trolling Memory Alpha and the IAW auctions, and saving pix of any tableware. For the next year I researched the foods, glassware, and tableware in the screenshots looking for found items. Because I have always been an avid cook and tableware collector it was relatively easy for me to identify some things; the rest I found by looking at thousands of pictures on eBay and other tableware sites. Therefore, all the assessments below are MY OPINION, nothing has been verified by anyone of authority.
First of all, here is a YouTube video made by a star trek archivist. It's called Secrets of Quarks Bar and she describes how some of the bar props were created:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTdAcGghk70
The pics below are all from either IAW, trekcore, or Memory Alpha and were what I used to figure out where the props came from. Wherever possible, I have included a link to a place where you can purchase the found item so run your mouse over the pics to see if there's a link. The description is generally BELOW the picture.

These demitasse cups and mugs are made by Alessi, designed by Michael Graves, and available here:
www.gabrielross.com

The weird bottle in the upper lefthand corner of this pic is a wine decanter made in Spain.
They are available in clear and amber.
I bought our amber ones on eBay and found a clear one at the local World Market last month.

This glass is the Ultima Thule pattern by Iittala, the double old fashioned size, available at
www.finnishgifts.com

These "glasses" are a taper candle holder made in Taiwan for Pier One
(this I know for a fact as I have a screen-used one which is 10.75” tall and 3.25” across the lip).
I found some on eBay but I think you might be able to get them at World Market closer to Christmas.
I would like more of these so if you find them, please let me know!

The pitcher and glasses were made by Mackenzie-Childs.
The pattern has been discontinued and I could not find a photo anywhere
but it could be either the Piccadilly or the Cayuga pattern.

Picard's tea set is made by Saenger and is available here:
saengerporcelain.com Picard’s tea set

Another member told me that these plates were made by Arcoroc.
I found them on eBay, the pattern name is Novotime, Novoctime, or Octime.

This is a Nambe tri corner bowl, available new here:
www.nambe.com
There are always used ones available on eBay for much less.
They came in 5 different sizes so if you shop eBay make sure you get the size you want.

This flatware is Mikasa’s Millennium pattern, discontinued. There are a few pieces available at:
http://www.replacements.com

These glasses may have been made by Luminarc as there is a set on ebay here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180278008386

This type of bottle is a grappa bottle. I’ve seen many on eBay.

This mug is an aluminum one quart measuring cup.
The ones made by Volrath and Linconware have the wrong lip.
The correct one, with the riveted handle, is available here:
www.mjrestaurantsupply.com
(I have a small hand and prefer the pint version.)
The mugs sold on eBay by intrep74656
are not screen used but intrep74656 IS Rick Sternbach so they ARE from his collection as are the other things he sells.

I think these glasses are the Tapio champagne by Iittala available at:
http://www.finnishgifts.com/tapio-glassware.html

These are the Stella shot glass by IIttala.
They also used the juice glass. Both are available here:
http://www.finnishgifts.com/iittala-...glassware.html

This casserole dish and serving spoon were made by Iittala and are available here:
http://www.finnishgifts.com/iittala.html

I THINK this plate is the AinoAlta pattern by Iittala, available here:
http://www.finnishgifts.com/7plate.html

These mugs are made by Highwave for people who sail.
They’re also known as the Hojo mug and have a non-skid bottom and a lid.
The colors used on the show were custom made. Standard black, white, and blue are available here:
www.galleyware.com

I THINK these glasses are the Marius pattern by Iittala, which was discontinued in 2002.
They may also be the Holmegaard Space Glass available here:
Unica Home Holmegaard space glass
Many of the china patterns made by Pfaltzgraff are available here:
http://search.replacements.com

These little rectangular plates look to me like the EveryWhere Plates in cornflower blue made by Chantal.
Make sure you get cornflower blue, they made 2 other blue colors.
They’ve been discontinued but MIGHT be available here:
www.giantsavings.com

The oddly shaped bottle at the bottom right in this photo from the Startrek Cookbook
was made by Holmegaard. It’s called a kluk-kluk (or cluck cluck) decanter because of the
noise it makes when it pours.
It was made in several sizes from 14” down to 6”. It’s hand blown so the size is not exact and some
of them are more symmetrical than others. The one in the photo looks like it’s the 10” size.
I’ve seen it in blue, green, smoke and clear. If you want clear, make sure it’s not smoke.
They’ve been discontinued but show up frequently on eBay

The glass in this shot has a round base with bubbles in it.
I haven’t been able to find the manufacturer yet but it shows up on ebay periodically
as a “round bubble base” or “bullicante base” glass.
I THOUGHT it was the same as these (below) but I ordered a set and the lip is too wide:

The screen-used one I now believe is a bud vase but I have not found a source for them.
If I do, though, they will not hold much and, if you plan to use them, the ones from cocktailvibe above would be a better buy.

The tea set in this scene was made by Christofle. If you have REALLY deep pockets ($7000) you can purchase one here:
Christofle Art Deco Tea Set

And the metal container in the lower left of this shot (right under his wrist watch)
looks like the dotted canister made by Alessi. I see them frequently on eBay.

These glasses look like the Strauss Glass available at Crate and Barrel strauss glass.

And these are the Direction Pilsner, also available at Crate and Barrel direction pilsner.

These bottles were made by Tynant .
In the Chicago area they're available at Whole Foods and World Market.

These glasses are the Sirrus pattern by Libbey, discontinued in 1997, but sometimes available on ebay.

The bottle in the lower left was made by Jim Beam and is available on eBay in about 10 different colors:

These starduster glasses are 12oz acrylic parfait glasses
.

The plates used on TNG and VOY shown above were made of ceramic and sold at Macys.
A PLASTIC version that is similar is available at the website below:

We used these for our party. They also sell an octagonal one similar to the Octime.
The following are items I found and for which I have some information but not enough to identify.
Let me know if I shouldn't post this kind of incomplete info in the future.
I'm pretty sure I found Archer's/Janeway's Decanter!
Screenused:

Mine:

Mine weighs SEVEN pounds with a 3" base making it unweildy as a decanter but a gorgeous thing to behold.
Unfortunately, there are NO markings anywhere so I am still looking for the mfg.
The "glasses" used for this Antarean Brandy:

could either be bud vases:

or cordial glasses made by Judel. The Judel glasses are faceted and that is not visible in the screen shot. There were 10 of these on eBay when I first posted this thread:

This bottle:

Looks like one of the bottles in an IAW lot. It has a "Made In Spain" sticker on the side and some pink residue on the inside which makes me think it was originally used for some bath product. There is a price sticker on the bottom which reads $18.95 but the bit with the UPC or store name has been removed!
Here is IAW pic:

This last one is a bit gross so hopefully someone can disprove my theory:
This decanter of Meridor

could either be what's known as a "duck decanter" like this one by Riedel:

but it looks more like this old urinal I stumbled over on eBay:

That's all I have so far but I'm always on the lookout!
If you have screen shots of other tableware you'd like me to research, please send them to me.

AWESOME INFO!
I am going out of town, but will be back in a few days.
I am VERY interested in this thread and will be contributing some info and pics for you.
I believe we have a pretty good bottle collection somewhere in the gallery that you are more than welcome to look over for reference. Like I said, I'll post on this in a few days. This is a subject I am very interested in.
BTW I am a graphic artist and I can help you with labels. I've been collecting them and revectoring them for reproduction. Ask anyone here on the board about my skills if you have doubts.

And the two on the Middle Shelf and the one on the Left of the Bottom Shelf that have the Curved Necks are the Saurian Brandy Bottles
The Original was made by Dickel Whiskey Company, and you can still get some from Intergalactic Trading
http://www.intergalactictrading.com/...ckel&x=18&y=19
These have, of course, been seen a number of times in Star Trek in one Form or another....
Journey to Babel, and The Enemy Within (TOS), for example, but we also saw a Klingon enjoying it while he was Stationed at that Outpost in ST: VI when The ENTERPRISE was on her way to Rescue Kirk and McCoy
A number of the ones used in DS9 however, were Re-Created by the Art Department especially for the Show
.

The Klingon blood wine bottles used in DS9 are Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix bottles with a few changes with some craft paper.

Here are a few bottles that we have in our gallery:

If you click on the link above, it will bring up more detailed images.
It will also bring up other images (some nothing to do with bottles).
In searching for images and what not I've come across these:
Bottle gallery
star trek liquor bottles NOTE: you may have to sign up to view, if you cannot view these, I'll swipe the graphics and post them here. Just post.
more to come.

I'll be back shortly...
Sorry for disappearing -- I've been immersed in several personal crises (Mom's caregiver quitting AGAIN, taxes, etc...) and haven't had time for fun stuff like this but I'll be back once I get through them.
I just read everyone's replies and I'm thrilled to find so many like-minded people here! I can't wait to get back into it!

Great to see you back. Hey we all understand that Real Life comes before play. LOL Here's a few bottles from my collection:

I have a few bottles that I'm working on, but nothing to show at this moment.

There is a company selling these online for a steep price.
They go under the name of Sexy Flutes for $39.50.
I have seen these in the wild for way cheaper. I want to say Wal-Mart carried them for some time (last I looked they did not have them, but it could have been that store), I have also seen these at stores like Big Lots and Tuesday Morning. I'll add on to this when I find more info. I have also seen these in "pastel" colored globe bases.
